What a Week

Wasn’t it just last week that we were digging out from a heavy wet snow that had electricity off to millions of our neighbors in the Tri State area?  I was very lucky although we lost power at my house at least a half a dozen times, we did not lose it for very long.   I have friends and co workers that were not that lucky.

On Sunday I went to the facility in Wayne to check on things and was happy to see that although Wayne did lose power on Sunday, we did not have any damage to the property.  It wasn’t long after the last snow flake fell that the property was clear of snow.  While I was checking on things in Wayne my daughter was kind enough to use the snow blower and clean my driveway.  After we had completed our chores she was telling the wife and I that her friends did not have power since Saturday.  She asked if she could offer to let them use Grand Ma’s house till the power returned.  The wife said sure but first we need to check the house and see if everything is alright before making the offer.   (Grand Ma’s house although furnished has nobody living there at this time.)  Well wouldn’t you know it?   A tree from across the street fell into Grand Ma’s driveway pulling the wires right out of the house.  The street was closed in both directions.  To make a long story short, we did not get power in the house till Friday.

Enough about us, how about those Giants????

Actually, I have been having tenants stopping by all day.  I guess it is the change in weather that has everybody out and about.  Last week 12 inches of snow and more, this week it is about 60 and bright and sunny.  Never the less, the holidays are fast approaching.   We are all reminded of this when we turn on the TV and a commercial is played.  The stores are touting their, “Holiday Lay Away Plans”.

They are also reminding us that Black Friday will be upon us as soon as we wake up from Thanksgiving Dinner.

What will you do with all the goodies that you buy once you have taken advantage of the Black Friday sales????  You can’t hide the gym equipment in the garage or wreck room for a month.  Although TV’s are so much thinner and easier to move they still are bigger and bigger.  You can’t keep that in the trunk of your car till Christmas Eve.  What are you to do?

Guess what, we have the perfect solution to your problem.  Yes, give us a call we have a few 5 x 5 and 5 x 10 units that will be perfect to hide those great buys that you will make on Black Friday.  Heck if you want, we have electricity so that you can plug in the treadmill and see if it works as advertized.  You don’t want to find out on Christmas morning, that there is a problem.

Talk to you again next week.
